Hero Worship: Judge Dredd

Judge Joseph Dredd first saw the light of day in a British science fiction anthology called “2000 AD.” That was in 1977, and stone-faced Judge Dredd has been with us ever since, the longest-running comic character to appear in the magazine. A law enforcement officer in a violent future city, Judge Dredd is part of an elite corps of super cop/judges, who not only police the action, but are also empowered to arrest, try, and punish criminals on the spot. That includes, in some instances, the ultimate punishment — legal and lethal execution. Sylvester Stallone appeared in a 1995 movie based on the strip. This vid was done at the request of a YouTube friend, JudgeRicoDredd.
